Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin was born on march 6, 1915 in surat, gujarat, india. he was appointed to be the future Dai-al-mutlaq at the age of 19 by his father, the previous Dai-al-mutlaq, Syedna Taher Saifuddin.
